finally my new bag arrived in front of my apartment!feels like i was waiting forever to get this bag! actually this is my bday present from my bf..i choose it myself..(sometimes boys don't get what girl really wants..hehehe)
this is my bag looks like...

it is snake skin combined with a lamb skin..and the color is RED!loveee it!i got this from www.etsy.com

the seller is trashyourself, she was one of the it girl on NYLON magazine,got pretty much amazing taste on choosing stuff she sells..not to afraid the quality. Didn't i mentioned that this bag is vintage?really cool huh??

this mag is my fav mag ever!!u want to search for high end fashion,u might go for VOGUE, But for street fashion and color blocking combining..this mag is the best ever!! Wish there is NYLON Indonesia version,its gonna be so cool!!

EAST vs WEST marriage thingy

it was pops out in my mind earlier when i was taking a bath..the big difference that east(especially in Indonesia,i don't speak for any other east countries..)and west countries having bout marriage thingy..

what is the deal here in Indonesia,

for a couple when they getting married??they should held a big reception..big ceremony...the higher the star of the hotel they are in to..the more prestige they get from it.the more people they can invite to it,the more extravaganza..

don't they realize that is not worthy at all?they spend it like millions of money just for one night..(2 or 3 hours max) then they think people will remember it for the rest of their life?nooo....its a big no no!coz how big the party u held,there will be a bigger party coming up soon right after u.

sooo..think twice when u think for a big extravagant married..coz better u spend it on your honeymoon( i think u can go to Paris or Milan with that kind of money budgeting..and the one that enjoys it is u and your lover.not anyone else who just come up to your big party, eat and go home.(some of them even maybe actually doesn't want to go at the first place coz to lazy to dress up or any other reasons...)<---i speak for myself for this one..hate dress up for going to marriage party,especially for someone i even not close with.going to salon,makeup,dress up.../even when i write this blog right now..its make my mood down a little bit. thanks God I'm not having any party invitation coming soon this month. 

now..the difference with the western countries..(as i seen it in the movies hohoho...)they only held it the back of their home,in their garden..more likely like a garden party..only close relative invited..walking down the aisle with a simple dress(not the one that scared me to death!the big under waist kind of wedding dress/remind me of a cake wedding/small on top and get bigger on the below)or..maybe they held it in some place else (at the

beach..) but still the number of people coming up are much more smaller measure up with here in Indonesia(usually they held a table kind of arrangement for the relative that come..and they don't invite the whole people on their address phone numbers to come!)

it is simple,elegant,yet not coz a lot of money..and energy!(wondering the bride who is wearing a heavy dress and high heels standing for 3 hours to shaking hands with people who congrats her for getting married..the the groom who have to spend a big amount of money that expired within 3 hours?)

what your excuses?

---> there is more of business related reason for a big wedding?(the big bosses, are also too busy to come back from work and have to put a nice suit to come up to the party..they also have to give some money rite?which with their title,they expected to give a big mount of money.don't u really think they happy with that?come on get real!)

---->i have a lot of friends and how should they know I'm getting married if i wasn't invited them?(just put the news on the news paper/if u really wanting them to know u married :p!Beside..from 100% of your friends, only 20% that's really close to u,and really care that u getting married)soo who cares bout what your friends think or speak bout it,It Is your wedding,have it your-way.even in your big day..u have to think what others would think bout u??so sad!

---->my family expected me to give them a respect in front of their friends (well..i pleased my family all the time..26 years until now!u want to please them? there still lots of time to please them,when u become a success person,when u give them a grandchildren,when u have a wonderful family of your own..)

but the point over here...its officially global economic crisis..so any reasons to have a big extravaganza marriage just to please others..is just stupid!(only if u are a paris Hilton or prince William,so don't have to concern with this situation..but for regular people like me,i don't believe in pleasing others in the expenses of myself suffering.that's all!

craving for sweaters

my craving for this time is sweaters!got 6 items already (in just 1 week) hohoho but no to worried coz i got it from a flea market..so it doesn't cost me much..  this is me at my second home..(my shop/ICONIA BOUTIQUE.  ITC MANGGA DUA LT 5 BLOK A NO 146) since i have my laptop with me..i was able to wrote and wrote bout something that pops out in my mind../but yet got distracted if a customers came in so..still the best time to write is at the night when everybody is asleep and no one bother me..hohohoho... (little bit of promotion:the necklace is from my shop.isn't nice?statement necklace with animal print which is really2 in nowadays..)

I REALIZED THERE WAS NO PRINCE CHARMING RIDING A WHITE HORSE COMING ON TO U.. A LONG TIME AGO..(and believe me when i say this..i did adjusted with it!)

WHO needs branded thing when u have your own value?

if u know u worthy enough,feels precious enough to love yourself the way it is..

u don't have to carry the big brand name just to justify yourself..

hate social climber,hate someone who just wanna shows up look like socialite when they actually don't..

just be yourself,pay less for something that really good not coz it cost a fortune!

(not that, i against someone who has the branded thingy,but be realistic,if u have 1000$-spend 100 $..its makes sense.but if u got 1000$ but u spend 950$ just for justify yourself/?that's is stupid!)

my partner and me..

I want to show u the pic of my dearest partner Agnes Sukiant0..she was the one on the left side.This pic taken at hongkong causeway bay just in-front of sogo..just arrived there..very excited!we were going there for business trip..but for this very first night,we took our "me time" to pamper our self by doing sight seeing and taking photograph everywhere until our camera finally shut down..hohoho...

Don't asked me what we were doing the morning after this,we woke up early,got lost for several hours to found the place (which my friend back in Indonesia already recommended to us to go while we in Hongkong, u know..for business thingy..) then finally managed to found it!thanks God! but its not always about business,when the stores were closed and we got our spare time,we brought a wine and snack and ate it in our hotel room.. ( one thing about me that u should know that i always manage to earn money for buying a "cake" and "eat" it too../simple word for this ---> after u work your ass all day long..don't forget to enjoy your life too..coz that's the reason we work at the first place..to be able to enjoy our life..)

INTRODUCTION of ICONIA boutique

I'm a boutique owner here in jakarta: ICONIA boutique (itc mangga dua lt 5 blok a no 146) not satisfied enough with it yet,so i have my goal to expand and keep on creating a own label.well..for this business i don't do it alone,there is my partner agnes who help me a lot during my lazy and didn't wont to get out from"the comfort zone" moment! everyone has it rite? when we have those big goals but too lazy to walk through the process of reaching it..

anyway after this holiday season(lebaran) we decided to open more branch and create another clothes with our label .coz usually i sell clothes and things imported from Thailand or Hongkong..and after a while on doing that..it isn't much fun anymore that it used to be. (we thought it gonna be like a continuing holiday trip for us girls to shop overseas all the time,but we also got really tired hiks..)

heiyy...did i mentioned?my first launch of ICONIA+ label is this thing:
